The engrossing novel Eshkol Kufr penned by Shmuel Pfefferberg blends tension with romance against the background of the contemporary Israeli reality with its complexity and multifacetedness. During the rhythmic and fascinating plot, which moves between New York, Haifa and Jerusalem with a nod to Ramat Gan, the reader gets to know the character of Yoav, a spoiled young man from the upper class, around whom the story takes place.
